Hi, I'm James! I take photos with my phone and I think you should too. 

I am a big believer in the best camera is the one you have on you and as we in the modern world usually have our phone handy its obviously the best one. 

Most of my work is nature based, macro, landscape, plants and gardens. I occasionally shoot candid portraits of the kids or events and also enjoy a bit of architectural photography, churches being of particular interest, the light and history are beautiful. 

I have been lucky enough to win the macro and details category of the 2021 mobile photo awards and have been given an honourable mention every time I've entered. Recently I had four of the ten camera phone finalists in the BBC wildlife magazine photography competition. (Dear reader, I didn't win, sobs) 

Anyway this little site is just to showcase some of my work and hopefully provide a bit of inspiration to those wanting to start photography with the camera in their pocket.
